The old adage of “looking someone in the eye” has great value when you know WHAT to look for!
The next time you watch a person’s eyes…
EYE MOVEMENTS:
Up to Left = creating an image
Up to right = recalling an image
Sideways left 1st = creating something they heard
Sideways right 1st = remembering something they heard
Down to left = imagining a feeling
Down to right = remembering a feeling
OK, there you have the basics of eye movements, NOW practice with friends, family, co-workers BEFORE you practice with clients.
The eyes reveal so much if we but look and “listen” to their narrative.
