The OCCC will request information about your background.

You will be requested to provide a full ten-year work history. Any gaps must be explained. The OCCC Specialist assigned to your application will conduct a background check. You will be required to provide information and documentation for Bankruptcies, Arrests, Charges, Warrants, and Other State Licenses you hold before we submit your application.
Failure to disclose information will delay your application and can result in a denial from the OCCC. Additional statements Tom Hampton Agency has to create due to failure to disclose information will result in an additional fee.

Pricing Details and Procedures
Your inquiry is being directed to Tom Hampton Agency, an affiliate of Car Guys Agency, from the Car Guys Agency Website.
Tom Hampton Agency Fee - $800 plus tax (We require $433 down to begin working on your application. Your second payment of $433 is due once your application is ready to submit in ALECS.)
The OCCC State fee - $660 paid directly to the state by Credit card or Check (ACH)(not to THA)
Fingerprints - Estimated $40 to $60 per person (paid at time of appointment)
To begin your application, you will receive a POA to sign and return permitting us to work with your personal information for the duration of the application process, along with a PayPal link to make your first $433 payment.
Once we receive your signed POA and first payment, we start by sending you a few links that help us gather information, such as your work history, dealership information, and copies of important documents. We put all the data into the application and verified with you that all the information is correct.
Once the application is ready to be submitted, we will request the second payment of $433 as well as credit card information or a check for the $660 payment to the OCCC. We follow the application and give you updates on the process until everything is approved.
After submitting the application in ALECS, everyone listed as an owner will need to make fingerprint appointments. The sooner you get them done, the sooner your application can be moved to a final review with the state.
Once the application has been submitted, and your fingerprints are completed, we usually see a final decision from the OCCC anywhere between 4 - 8 weeks. Please be aware that delays do happen. We do our best to work with all parties to shorten any delays that come up.
The OCCC Finance License is renewed every October. No matter when your 1st approval date was. Please be aware that if an application is within 30 days of October, the OCCC has been known to ask if you would like to wait for the approval.
